Art Model is a brand name introduced by M4, the Italian company that also manufactures the Best models and, since 2004, owns the Rio range, in 1993. The range consists of 1/43rd scale diecast models of classic Ferrari sportcars from the 1940s to the 1960s. The models are very accurate: photo-etched parts for wire wheels and radiator grilles have been applied from the beginning. In addition to the diecast models, one single resin model was made by Art Model in the 1990s: In 1997 they released a limited edition model of the first Ferrari car in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous sports car make. Only two decades later, other resin models were introduced to the range.
